Statement of Faith

Rooted in Scripture, centred on Jesus Christ, guided by the Holy Spirit, and lived out with faithfulness and reverence before God.

1) Scripture

The Word of God

We believe that the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God and the final authority for faith and life. Scripture is sufficient, trustworthy, and authoritative in all matters it addresses.

2 Timothy 3:16–17 (NKJV)

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”

All teaching, ministry activity, and public communication are measured against Scripture. Where Scripture speaks clearly, we submit.

2) God

The One True God

We believe in one true and living God, eternal, holy, and sovereign, who has revealed Himself in Scripture as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Deuteronomy 6:4 (NKJV)

“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one!”

God is the Creator of all things, perfect in holiness, faithful in His promises, and righteous in all His ways. He alone is worthy of worship, obedience, and trust.

3) Jesus Christ

The Son of God

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and lived a sinless life in perfect obedience to the Father.

John 1:14 (NKJV)

“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.”

Jesus willingly gave His life on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and now reigns as Lord. He alone is Saviour, Mediator, and Head of the Church.

Acts 4:12 (NKJV)

“Nor is there salvation in any other.”

4) Salvation

Grace Through Faith

We believe that salvation is the gift of God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. It is not earned by works, religious effort, or moral achievement.

Ephesians 2:8–9 (NKJV)

“For by grace you have been saved through faith… not of works, lest anyone should boast.”

Those who believe in Christ are forgiven, justified before God, and given new life. Salvation leads to transformation and a life of faithful obedience.

5) The Holy Spirit

God at Work in the Believer

We believe that the Holy Spirit is fully God, sent by the Father to convict the world of sin, to regenerate those who believe, and to dwell within every true follower of Christ.

John 16:13 (NKJV)

“However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth.”

The Holy Spirit works in harmony with Scripture, producing fruit that reflects holiness, obedience, and Christlike character. He does not contradict the written Word of God.

6) The Church

The Body of Christ

We believe that the Church is the body of believers redeemed by Jesus Christ and united by faith in Him. Christ alone is the Head of the Church.

Colossians 1:18 (NKJV)

“And He is the head of the body, the church.”

The Church exists to glorify God, proclaim the Gospel, and encourage believers to live faithfully before Him. Leadership within the Church is expressed through humble service and accountability, not hierarchy or domination.

7) Marriage & Family

God’s Created Order

We believe that God created humanity as male and female and established marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, forming the foundation for family life.

Genesis 2:24 (NKJV)

“Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.”

Marriage and family are gifts from God, designed for companionship, faithfulness, and the nurturing of life across generations. Believers are called to honour God’s design with integrity and obedience.

8) Christian Living

A Life of Faithful Obedience

We believe that those who belong to Christ are called to live lives marked by holiness, humility, and obedience to God’s Word.

James 1:22 (NKJV)

“But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”

Christian living flows from salvation and is empowered by the Holy Spirit. Faith is expressed through love, integrity, self-control, and perseverance in daily life.

9) Human Dignity

Made in the Image of God

We believe that every human being is created in the image of God and therefore possesses inherent dignity and worth. This dignity is given by God and is not based on ability, status, or achievement.

Genesis 1:27 (NKJV)

“So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”

Because human dignity is God-given, we reject manipulation, coercion, exploitation, and abuse of any kind. Love for people and faithfulness to truth belong together.

10) Freedom of Faith & Integrity

Conscience Before God

We believe that faith is a response to God’s grace and cannot be forced, controlled, or manipulated. Obedience to God flows from a willing heart and a clear conscience before Him.

2 Corinthians 3:17 (NKJV)

“Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”

Integrity in belief and conduct is essential to Christian witness. We seek to act honestly, responsibly, and transparently in all areas of life.

11) Conduct & Community

Order, Respect, and Responsibility

We believe that Christian conduct, both in public and private life, should reflect the character of Christ. Speech and behaviour are to be governed by truth, grace, and self-control.

1 Corinthians 14:40 (NKJV)

“Let all things be done decently and in order.”

Our communities, including online spaces, are to be marked by respect, restraint, and accountability, avoiding division, hostility, or disorder.

12) The Return of Christ & Doctrinal Clarity

Hope, Watchfulness, and Alignment

We believe in the bodily return of Jesus Christ at a time known only to God. This hope calls believers to faithfulness, readiness, and perseverance, not speculation or fear.

Acts 1:11 (NKJV)

“This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”
