The Word of God
We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God—truthful in all they affirm and the final rule for faith and practice.
2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21; Psalm 119:105
Father • Son • Holy Spirit
We believe in one God—eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—coequal in glory, distinct in personhood, and harmonious in will.
Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14
Source and Sovereign
The Father is holy, just, merciful, and abounding in steadfast love; He planned redemption and watches over His Word to perform it.
James 1:17; John 3:16; Jeremiah 1:11–12
Y’shua (Jesus) the Messiah
Y’shua (Jesus) is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man; conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived sinless, died a substitutionary, atoning death, rose bodily, ascended to the Father’s right hand, and will return in glory.
John 1:1–14; Colossians 1:15–20; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11
Presence and Power
The Holy Spirit glorifies Y’shua (Jesus), convicts of sin, regenerates, indwells, sanctifies, empowers, distributes gifts, and unites the Church in love and mission.
John 16:8–14; Titus 3:5; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12–14; Galatians 5:22–23
Image • Fall • Need
All people are created in God’s image with dignity and purpose, yet through sin are separated from God and in need of salvation.
Genesis 1:26–27; Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:1–3
Grace Through Faith
Salvation is by grace through faith in Y’shua (Jesus) alone—apart from works—resulting in forgiveness, justification, adoption, and new life in the Spirit. True faith bears the fruit of repentance and obedience.
Ephesians 2:8–10; Romans 10:9–10; Acts 3:19; Titus 2:11–14
Body and Bride
The universal Church is the Body of Christ—composed of all who trust in Y’shua (Jesus). Locally, the Church gathers for Word, worship, prayer, fellowship, and mission. We affirm the Church’s eternal identity as the Bride of Christ, called to live awake and ready for the Bridegroom.
Ephesians 1:22–23; Hebrews 10:24–25; Revelation 19:7; Matthew 25:1–13
Baptism & the Lord’s Supper
We practice water baptism for believers as a public testimony of union with Y’shua (Jesus), and we celebrate the Lord’s Supper as a memorial and proclamation of His death until He comes.
Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:3–4; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26
Holiness of Life
The Spirit calls every believer to holiness, purity, integrity, love, and service. Sanctification is decisive at new birth and progressive as we abide in the Word and walk in the Spirit.
1 Peter 1:15–16; 1 Thessalonians 4:3; John 17:17; Galatians 5:16
Edify • Exhort • Comfort
The gifts of the Spirit are for today and should operate decently and in order to build the Church and witness to the world—especially prophecy that edifies, exhorts, and comforts. Leaders equip the saints so the whole Body matures in love.
Acts 2:17; 1 Corinthians 12–14; Ephesians 4:11–16; 1 Thessalonians 5:19–21
Healing and Deliverance
Y’shua (Jesus) is Savior, Healer, and Deliverer. We pray for the sick, the oppressed, and the broken, trusting God’s sovereign goodness and welcoming the Spirit’s power. We practice prayer and intercession as a lifestyle of watchfulness.
James 5:14–16; Luke 4:18; Mark 16:17–18; Ephesians 6:18
Covenant & Discipleship
We honor marriage as a covenant before God and uphold chastity outside of marriage and faithfulness within it. We commit to discipling families and generations in the fear of the Lord.
Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4–6; Hebrews 13:4; Deuteronomy 6:6–7
Calling the Chosen
In alignment with our name—Shakeid (almond tree, a sign of watchfulness)—we commit to live alert to God’s Word and timing, keeping oil in our lamps and calling the Church into readiness. Our banner is “Calling the Chosen”: awakening, equipping, and sending a consecrated Bride into harvest.
Jeremiah 1:11–12; Matthew 25:6; Revelation 19:7–8
Go • Make Disciples
Every believer is called to make disciples of all nations—preaching the gospel, teaching the Word, doing justice, loving mercy, and carrying God’s presence into every sphere.
Matthew 28:18–20; Acts 1:8; Micah 6:8
Our Blessed Hope
We believe in the personal, visible return of Y’shua (Jesus), the resurrection of the righteous and the wicked, the final judgment, and the new heavens and new earth where God will dwell with His people forever. This hope purifies and propels our mission.
1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; Revelation 20–22; Titus 2:11–13
